Invictus
For those curious about the new film from Clint Eastwood titled Invictus, it's a latin word meaning 'unconquerable' and is taken from the title of this poem:
Out of the night that covers me,
Black as the Pit from pole to pole,
I thank whatever gods may be
For my unconquerable soul.
In the fell clutch of circumstance
I have not winced nor cried aloud.
Under the bludgeonings of chance
My head is bloody, but unbowed.
Beyond this place of wrath and tears
Looms but the horror of the shade,
And yet the menace of the years
Finds, and shall find me, unafraid.
It matters not how strait the gate,
How charged with punishments the scroll,
I am the master of my fate;
I am the captain of my soul.

Doodlin'
As well as photography, I do graphic design* and when you run into the equivalent of writer's block, all you can do is doodle nonsense just to play with colours and the wacom tablet.
*graphic/product/packaging/communication/and motion design as well as motion and still photography, motion picture editing, sound editing, and creative direction. I know, it's a lot and it's all over the map, but a brotha's gotta eat!
